THE RESULT OF DEEDS

God has given a parable a town which was safe and secure , and its provision came in abundance from every side ,then it denied God`s blessing ,and so God made it taste the engulfing hunger and fear on account of what they used to do (the Koran, 16:112).It is mentioned in a hadith ,related from Imam al-Sadiq, that there were some Bani Israel people , the jews, who were so affluent that they used to make status with their food stuuf , and even they used to cleanse their bodies with them.But finally ,they turnde into such people that they had to have the same polluted food stuff.Also in another hadith from him , it is mentioned that “my father [viz. Imam al-Baqir] did not like cleaning his hands with at hankerchief when he touched food ; instead he licked them in respect of food.” In the above mentioned verse ,the Holy Quran warn the people offluent with Divine graces that extravegance in the use of the Divine graces has a harsh penalty and brings about many unpleasant consequences. Thus , the Koran teaches us that:

Unthankfullness brings about:

1.Punishment,physical and psychological ,i.e. poverty ,hunger ,and unsecurity,respectively;

2.Ungratfulenss causes losing the Divine grace itself;

3.Ungratefulens brings about punishment in this world ,too;

4.Security and peace are the apex of Divine graces and they together act as a background for the economic development of a society.
